Our Making Standard
Tinker Puzzle Range is written by makers who spend more time with calipers than with render settings. We publish what we measured, label what we assumed and correct what we got wrong.
Who we are
A small, independent team of hobbyist engineers, product designers and repair-minded tinkerers based in Sheffield, writing for anyone who needs a printed part to work rather than simply look good.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or paid by any printer, slicer, CAD or filament company. Product names appear only where they help you follow a method.

How we test
Where a guide includes a number — a clearance, a deflection, a cycle count — it comes from parts we printed, a cited standard or a reputable reference, and we say which. Workshop judgement is labelled as judgement.
What we avoid
We don't publish decorative galleries, affiliate-driven “best of” lists or claims we can't support. If a technique only worked once on our bench, we tell you that too.
Corrections
Found an error or got a different result on your printer? Email [email protected]. We review every report and note significant corrections on the page.
Safety
Printed parts are not certified components. Never rely on them where failure could injure someone, and follow ventilation and fire-safety guidance for your printer and materials.
Want to share a build or a stubborn problem? Send a prototype note — we read them all, even if we can't answer each one individually.
