What we collect
- Emails you send us. If you email a prototype note, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include, such as photos or measurements.
- The note tool. The contact form on our site runs entirely in your browser. It does not transmit anything to us; text is only shared if you choose to email it.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and fault-finding.
- Browser storage. We may store simple preferences in your browser, described on our cookies page.
Why and on what basis
We process email correspondence to reply to you (legitimate interests) and server logs to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interests). Where consent is required for optional storage, we ask for it first.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted unless an ongoing conversation needs it. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that host the site and our email, under contracts requiring appropriate protection, or where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
